This blog is intended to gather, present and share evidence of my work on the teacher training activities designed in the course: INNOVATIVE TEACHING PRACTICES SUPPORTED BY THE FOCUSED USE OF ICT TOOLS IN THE LANGUAGE CLASSROOM.
It aims at analysing the techniques, methodology and approaches fostering the integration of the skills in the Linguistic Communication competence by using the Technology for Learning and Knowlege (TLK).
The competence in Linguistic Communication and digital competence bind to each other to foster and enable new models of school.
For the first task, we are supposed to add two images and three links to websites related to our subject: English.
The first link I'm sharing is the youtube channel Lexicallab . You can find interesting explanations about the use of typical expressions in English that can be really helpful. These are short videos where the person presenting the language provides us with some good examples and context so that we can easily grasp the meaning and the use of those lexical bits of language. There's also a webpage and social networks where we can find the same or similar contents.
The second website I would like you to know is Amigos Ingleses. Phillip and Isabel help students with their English in a practical but also fun way. There's a blog and so many videos on the use of English.
Another interesting web page is Breaking News English. Lots of resources can be found here. Lessons are available based on news. You can find articles and so much language practice in reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, etc.
BBC Learning English is a very useful tool to improve your English. It offers courses, practice on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and many more resources. Quizzes, podcasts and videos are just a few examples of what can be found on this renowned website and its social networking sites.
This is Pinterest's logo. It is a "visual discovery engine". It can be used to find, collect and share myriads of "pins" we can categorise and include in boards which are arranged according to our interests.
There's a huge amount of contents on, for example, English, apps, ICTs, learning languages, ...
